A team of United legends were beaten 3-2 by their Real Madrid counterparts in the Corazon Classic Match at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu.
The charity meeting, which benefited Real's Foundation academies in Africa, pitted famous names from the pasts of both clubs against one another, and the game began in entertaining fashion as Fernando Morientes put the hosts into the lead after seven minutes, only for Lee Sharpe to fire the Reds back on level terms within two minutes.

Premier League duo Giovani Dos Santos and Javier Hernandez led Mexico to a friendly win over Brazil at Dallas Cowboys Stadium.
Tottenham forward Dos Santos opened the scoring in the 21st minute following a good move and he then won the penalty that allowed Manchester United striker Hernandez to double the lead 10 minutes later.
Mexico's victory means they completed their United States tour with three wins having beaten Wales 2-0 and Bosnia-Herzegovina 2-1.

England lose defender Cahill to broken jaw

England have suffered another injury blow after Gary Cahill was forced to withdraw from their UEFA EURO 2012 squad because of a fractured jaw.
The 26-year-old, who recently won the UEFA Champions League with Chelsea FC, sustained the injury when colliding with England goalkeeper Joe Hart during last night's 1-0 friendly victory against Belgium at Wembley.

Ferdinand, 33, believes he would thrive on the responsibility of getting the best out of players and determining tactics.
The centre-back, who was left out of England's Euro 2012 squad, is expecting to be offered a new deal by United and feels he still has a few years of playing at the top level remaining.
